About

ABOUT ME

I am a London-based, User Experience Designer and my curiosity has pulled me in many directions.

The geek and problem-solver in me pursued a law degree, digital marketing diploma and dabbled in code. The middle child in me connects with individuals on a human level, most recently as a PR professional at Universal Music. The creative in me loves to paint and write songs on the guitar.

Then I was introduced to UX design and everything aligned. I love learning, and I am fascinated with human behaviour, which is why I love designing user-centred digital products.

I am currently working as an Associate Experience Designer at TAB (The App Business).

Process

MY PROCESS

Double DIAMOND

I follow the double diamond process of design developed by the Design Council. This is an iterative process that involves cycles of researching, designing and testing to validate all of my design decisions. This is combined with an agile approach and extensive client-facing experience.

I am passionate about spotting and creating opportunities. I make it my purpose to build rapport, empathy and understanding with the users and clients in order to meet both the users' needs and business' goals.

1. RESEARCH

Learn about the business needs and project requirements through stakeholder interviews and identify any opportunities through competitive analysis. Then conduct qualitative and quantitative research on users to understand their goals, frustrations and requirements.

2. DefinE

Identify patterns and pain points based on the user research. Visualise and define the problem through storyboards, customer experience maps, user flows and personas. Identify the necessary information architecture required to meet the user goals.

3. IDEATE & DESIGN

Run collaborative workshops and design studios with the design team and sometimes the client. Collectively come up with solutions to the problem. Design low fidelity paper wireframes, mapping out the user flows and screen layout, ready to be tested with real users.

4. TEST & DEliver

Conduct usability tests on the protoypes either in person or remotely. Create high fidelity wireframes and update the designs based on usability testing. Focusing on the interaction design and visual design elements of the user interface.
